Funding
The government provides a single website for all childcare entitlements and schemes:
You can use this site to check eligibility for:
Working parents funding (from 9 months+)
2-year-old funding
3–4-year-old universal and extended (30 hours) funding
Children eligible for 2-year-old deprivation funding will be contacted automatically by the ESCC funding team.
When Funding Starts
Funding begins the term after your child’s birthday,
except 9-month funding, which starts the term after your child’s 9-month anniversary.
3–4-Year-Old Funding
All 3–4-year-olds receive
15 hours of universal funding per week.
You may also be eligible for up to
30 hours (working parents).
The first
15/30 consecutive hours are funded; additional hours will be billed.
What We Need From You
To claim funding, you must provide:
A copy of your child’s birth certificate or passport at registration
Any eligibility codes (for 2-year, 30 hours, etc.)
You must complete a funding form each funding term. Failure to do so will make you liable for full fees.
Important: Persistent non-attendance may lead to funding being withdrawn by EYEE.
Sharing Funding
Funding can be shared with one other setting—please inform both settings if this applies.
Fees
Fees are charged per hour and reviewed regularly. We provide at least four weeks notice of any changes.
Payments
Fees must be paid by the start of each term.
Invoices show the sessions your child is due to attend.
Payment is due within two weeks via BACs.
If BACs is not possible, please contact us to arrange an alternative method.
Non-payment may result in your child being unable to access booked sessions.
Financial Support
If you are experiencing financial difficulties, please speak confidentially with our Manager so we can work out an arrangement.
Other Information
We accept Childcare Vouchers.
Ofsted URN: EY2704281
Missed sessions (holidays, sickness, etc.) are still payable.
No refunds/waivers apply if sessions are shortened, your child is absent, or the setting is closed due to circumstances beyond our control (e.g., extreme weather, loss of utilities, pandemic).
Withdrawing Your Child
If you choose to remove your child from the preschool,
four weeks’ written notice is required.
This notice period must be
funded or paid during term time.
